M/V Mae Etta Hines, M/V Warren W Hines and M/V JW Hunter

In the December 2013, three boats were purchased: the M/V Sheila Johnson, the M/V Don File and the M/V Warren W. Hines. The 6,000hp M/V Shelia Johnson was renamed the M/V Mae Etta Hines. The vessel was built by Jeffboat in 1975. Mae Etta Hines is the grandmother of Hunter Marine’s business development manager, Kent Furlong. The 4,200hp M/V Warren W. Hines was originally built for Hines Inc. in 1982 by Jeffboat. Immediately after taking possession of the vessel, she was put to work on the Cumberland River for the winter. The M/V Warren W. Hines underwent a main engine overhaul, generator replacement, and other maintenance in the third quarter of 2014. Warren W. Hines is the late great uncle of Hunter Marine’s business development manager, Kent Furlong. The 6,000hp M/V Don File was renamed the M/V J.W. Hunter. The vessel was built by Jeffboat in 1974. Immediately after taking possession of the vessel, she was put to work on the Lower Mississippi River. J.W. Hunter is the late father of Hunter Marine president and founder, Ron Hunter.
